In support of the sisterhood
The inner workings of the female body is truly incredible. I hope to support women to get in touch with their bodies, and to feel both empowered and in control of their health.
A Mother of three boys, a pup and four chickens
I have been truly blessed with three healthy active sons. We take a holistic and sustainable approach to life….in the garden or at the beach is where we love to be! Being a mother is a constant learning curve in my life; I’m still working on the fine art of the mother-juggle, work-life balance!
An expert vegetable hider
I am not only an expert at hiding vegetables in food, but I can make herbal medicines taste great for little ones too; I’ve got loads of practical tricks up my sleeve to share with you!
Cat Edwards Naturopathic Clinician, BHSc (Naturopathy)
Cat is a degree qualified naturopathic clinician, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) in 2019. Working alongside women, and supporting women in health and life, is a dream come true for Cat.
The birth of her first son was a turning point in Cat's career, and it was during this time that her passion for women’s and children’s health was born. From her own personal experiences of pregnancy to motherhood (and all the ups and downs in between), she found her true calling as a practitioner.
According to Cat, her biggest privilege in life is being a mum to three beautiful boys (Leo, Jack and Jasper). They constantly teach and surprise her and have played a formative part in moulding her into the talented, agile and compassionate practitioner she is today.
Cat loves to work with children, while supporting families in raising healthy, holistic and happy kids. She adopts a gentle and caring approach to paediatric health and comes from a place of experience and understanding. Given this, Cat practices a truly holistic and realistic approach to healthcare.
With an evidence-based approach to the practice of naturopathic medicine, Cat works in close alignment with her patients' and their medical-care teams in helping them achieve optimal results.
Cat has a passion, gift and special interest in herbal manufacturing. You’ll often find her in the dispensary, manufacturing personalised pessaries, creams, balms and formulations. She is in awe of the way naturopathy brings the ability to create unique products suited for individual needs.
In previous years, Cat founded a herbal manufacturing business, creating pregnancy and postnatal packages for mums and bubs. She loves being able to bring the focus and nurturing back to mothers, supporting them on their journey into and throughout motherhood.
Cat feels honoured to support her patients through all areas of womanhood, from the very first period (menarche) to the very last (menopause) and beyond.
