I am incredibly passionate about women’s health and hormones
More specifically - in empowering women and teens in menstrual awareness; understanding their cyclical hormones, what’s normal and what’s not, and how to restore monthly ovulation, and regular, pain-free and comfortable periods.
Holistic in all that I do
Being a certified personal trainer, I merge the nutritional and naturopathic understandings from my bachelor’s degree in Health Science, with safe and appropriate movement for an individual’s stress tolerance, life-stage, and even the particular week of their menstrual cycle to ensure alignment with the body’s changing needs. I educate women on the opportunities that come with the ebbs and flows of hormone activity within their cycle; to create a lifestyle alignment plan which optimises creativity, productivity, athletic performance, self-reflection and down-time to promote synergy and balance with the biochemical changes that we women endure as cyclical creations.
A bit of a geek at heart
I am so fascinated with how the human body works. In my downtime, I am often found exploring research, or reading into the fields of neuroplasticity and emotional biochemistry. I truly love sitting with a person and learning about their past and present health; identifying how previous experiences and belief systems may have altered their current health and physical body, then supporting their health crisis in a holistic approach that provides not only evidence-based therapeutic intervention for their current health profile, but also an open space and resources to release any undealt emotion that may be playing a role in the disease process.
I find the root cause
I have studied humans, health and behaviour for over five years, and during this time I’ve gained an incredible understanding of the role of the modern environment in health and disease. I have identified patterns from clinical experience that connect trauma with specific disease manifestation, and I have a comprehensive understanding of infection and biochemical processes in health. I strive to find the root cause of a health concern through thorough case taking and testing where required. When I can understand the root cause, the most appropriate treatment and advice can be given that ensures an outcome that is sustainable and promotes longevity in health.
A Mumma to Border Collie pup, Max
Some of the simplest and best lessons in life can be learned from a dog. Play often, be yourself - silly, sad, embrace it all; accept others regardless of their shape, size or colour; be loyal; greet people with a smile (or a wagging tail), love unconditionally, don’t hold onto emotions, forgive, and live in the moment.
A woman on her health-recovery journey
After coming off the contraceptive pill in my early 20s, I felt like I was at war with my body. I had adult acne, my moods and emotions were out of control, I started gaining unusual amounts of weight despite being consistent in my diet and exercise regime, and I didn’t get a period for two years. I’d been told the only way to manage my acne was to take antibiotics or go back on the pill. I was told that I was perimenopause (at 22 years old!) and that I would have great difficulty if I wanted to have children. Despite feeling depressed, fatigued and rapidly gaining weight, I was told I was perfectly fine and that it “was all in my head”. This was eight years ago. Now, I rejoice a regular symptom-free period, my weight is under control, and I feel at peace within. I started listening to my body, and it began to work with me…we learned to work together.

She has had great success in treating her own thyroid and reproductive issues with lifestyle, diet, nutritional and herbal medicine. Her approach is empathetic, and she has a strong desire to empower women with the knowledge, resources and confidence to take control of their health.
