Cascara Complex
Formulated to relieve constipation.
A herbal combination including Cascara and dandelion to help reduce the occurrence of constipation. Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to:
- Increase bowel regularity
- Support healthy liver function
- Promote bile flow from gall bladder
No added artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours. Vegan friendly.
Warnings:
- Drink plenty of water
- Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
- Use in children under 12 years is not recommended
- Prescribe with caution during pregnancy and lactation
- Not for excessive dosage; prolonged use may cause serious bowel problems
- Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present, or if diarrhoea develops
- Avoid high doses in patients taking antiarrhythmic drugs and potassium-depleting medications; maintain patients on a high-potassium diet
- Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
