Phellodendron Forte 60 tabs
Traditionally used to relieve diarrhoea.
Provides Phellodendron amurense as a single ingredient. Phellodendron is traditionally used in Chinese medicine to:
- Relieve inflammation
- Relieve diarrhoea or loose stools
- Clear empty heat and resolve dampness
No added gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg or sesame seeds. No added artificial colours, sweeteners or flavours. Vegan friendly.
Warnings:
- Not advisable in jaundiced neonates
- Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
- Monitor patients who tend to experience constipation
- Contraindicated in pregnancy, lactation and patients taking immunosuppressive drugs
- Caution is warranted in beta-thalassaemia, unconjugated hyperbilirubinaemia and those with obstructed bile ducts
- Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 - 6 years, 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years
- Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
