The Key To Weight Loss | with Diane Pascoe

The key to successful body composition outcomes is consistency and accountability.

Struggling with weight gain especially when there are factors such as a very busy social life and peri menopause can be so frustrating and demoralising. It’s interesting how bad habits that seem so insignificant at the time start to creep in and eventually become a regular part of your lifestyle. Seeing increasing amounts of fat develop around your middle and back, which may very well be fuelled by peri menopause, can be almost frightening and it happens rapidly.

I have the key to get you back on track and it started with my own journey.

My Journey

So, I would do well and stay consistent with exercising and eating well for periods of time and then LIFE would get in the way! That in combination with the hormonal changes I experienced throughout peri menopause meant my body stopped responding as it once did, which resulted in me gaining and carrying a stubborn 5kg.

Crunch time came last year when I was about to launch the Spring Into Spring weight loss program. In my research, I had been reading a great deal about peri menopause and the impact it has on a woman's body.

I was able to get clarity and consistency following the same plan I was helping my clients with, because now I had decided to take it seriously - I also had to be accountable to my clients.

Once I was in the zone, where all the stars aligned as far as diet, sleep, hormones and exercise were concerned, losing weight was no longer a struggle. Everything became easier. I didn't have to think about what I was going to eat next and exercise became a joy. It finally made sense how my body was responding.

Staying in this weight loss zone, I lost a total of 9kg. I consistently and most importantly happily now stay approximately 1kg above my initial loss. In the graph below, you can see my results spanning over twelve months.

The Spring Into Spring Program
