Warnings:
 
- Discontinue if conception occurs
- Caution is advised in patients taking medications, including combined oral contraceptives (St John's Wort)
- Due to Licorice: caution is advised in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics, and in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives; contraindicated in hypertension and oedema
- Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
